Set of 8 eurocoins Vatican 2014 (BU)

The Official Vatican 2014 folder is the first set to depict Pope Francis. It contains all 8 circulating euro coins (1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 cents and 1, 2 euros) of the Vatican, in brilliant uncirculated quality. Coins are in the official Vatican City coin folder, on the front of the folder is the official seal of the Vatican.

The 1-, 2- and 5-euro cent coins show the left profile of the new Head of State, Pope Francis. The words ‘CITTA DEL VATICANO’ at the top, in semi-circle. The year of issuance ‘2014’ and the mintmark ‘R’ at the right. Authors are Gabriella Titotto (sculptor) and
Ettore Lorenzo Frapiccini (engraver).

The 10-, 20- and 50-euro cent coins depict the portrait of the new Head of State, Pope Francis. The words ‘CITTA DEL VATICANO’ at the top, in semi-circle. The year of issuance ‘2014’ and the mintmark ‘R’ at the right. Authors are Orietta Rossi (sculptor) and
Luciana De Simoni (engraver).
